Power. Destruction. Wicked. All of these would have to describe the power that has been told in legend from the “Scroll of Ages” All have sought out this power, none have successful. Until one ninja found it. Within the scroll lays one single animal. No one knows what it is as some just call it a demon for the destruction it had put on the world. If this animal were to be broken from the scroll it is confined in once more, there would be no telling what destruction the world would be in. The last time the scroll had been found, the demon had twisted the user’s mind into releasing him. The man had tried his best to seal the demon back up within the scroll, but no luck came his way. Two others stood by his side when all hope was lost, using the power that they could to seal the demon back into the scroll. The ninja had used ‘The key of Mittsu’ To trap the demon.
A key is the only way to unlock the power of the scroll as well as seal the demon up with the right amount of power, but three ninja one from the Leaf village, one from the sand village, and the last from the Mist village broke the key into three different pieces scattering it all over the world, in hopes that no one would be able to use the scroll again. If all three parts of the key were to be connected together once more, the user would be able to find the scroll.
Now is the knew generation, and others have heard the story or the scroll. Some scared by it others who wish to go in search for it, which would bring trouble to the world and give them full power of what they of desired. The three parts of the key have been yet to be discovered by anyone. It has been said that there invisible map and clues to get to the three parts of the key.
Akemi was standing right beside his bed in the middle of his room. “There got everything” he muttered under his breath. He had just finished packing for a mission that he had been told was beginning today. He didn’t yet know what the mission was but he would know shortly when he got to the edge of the city. He grabbed his headband from the small table in his room putting it around his head, then placed his goggles over his head to let dangle around his neck. “Time to go” he said to himself as he pulled his backpack over his shoulders, jumping out the side of his window landing on the ground as he started towards the Village’s gates. It has taken awhile, but he had learned to coop with his other teammates, or was farther with it then he had been before when he wished to work alone. Sure he didn’t want to have teammates back before but he just dealt with it, it didn’t really matter to him anymore.

"Mother, I'm going off on a mission... I'll be back soon..." The quiet, rasping voice of Koumori could be heard all through the small bedroom. The young genin stood over her mother's sleeping form, her eyes teary and softened with emotion. The young girl's pallid hand rest atop her mother's, and, right before Koumori removed her hand from her mother's, it seemed Misagi's was atop hers.
"Be good, Koumori..." Misagi whispered, a slight smile on her face. Her maroon eyes opened a crack, and shakily, she moved her hand from Koumori's, gently reaching up to caress her daughter's cheek. "Make me proud..."
"Of course..." Koumori replied, removing her hand from her mother's and turning around toward the door. Wiping the tears from her cheeks, the young kunoichi disappeared.
Meanwhile, standing in front of the village gates was none other than Kusabana Tenkuu. The jounin had her arms crossed, and her eyes were narrowed. "Dammit...what's taking them so long?" she muttered to herself, her crimson gaze flickering up to the sky. The sun was already past its zenith. "I told them clearly to come at sunhigh. CLEARLY." Shaking her head, the Tenkuu ran a hand through her ivory locks. "I asked for genin, I got a lazy, uncaring boy, a girl who never shows up for anything anymore, and a demon host. Rapture..."

Akemi stared up at the sky. “Figures” he muttered to himself. Why must he be late, now of all times. He raced forwards through the town. He had to say sorry a few times as he almost bumped into a few people. He growled under his breath this was taking much to long. It would have helped if he lived a little closer to the village gates where they where to meet Kusabana sensi.
He jumped up into the air as he landed softly upon one of the few roof tops. He stared forwards through the village, from the roof, being able to see the gates from where he was. He kept going, his foot steps barely detected. Once he jumped back down to the dirt ground, in a crouched position, he soon stared up at his sensi. “Sorry I am late Kusabana sensi” he said to her as he stood up, adjusting his bag. He looked around. Well at least he could say he wasn’t totally late being he wasn’t the last one here at all. Of coarse any other time he would be the second one here anyway being his sensi was usually here first anyway.
He was a little happy though, this was there first mission that they had had in a while now and he couldn’t wait to get going. Once everyone got here Kusabana would probably say what the mission was. Ether that or he was the only one yet to know what it was yet. Ether way he hoped his teammates got here soon.

"So...Koumori..." Kusabana muttered, trying to start some small-talk while her other genin kept her waiting. "How's your mother doing?"
That seemed to rub Koumori the wrong way, for she turned around and narrowed her eyes, but didn't reply. That seemed to confuse Kusabana quite a bit. "So, you won't talk to me, eh?" she asked, a small smirk forming on her face. "What if I knew someone who could help your mother?"
The demon host whirled around, rushed to Kusabana, and grabbed her by the shoulders. "Tell me how," she demanded, eyes wide and glimmering with determination. "Tell me who it is..."
"Why, Lady Hokage herself!" Kusabana laughed. "I have a friend who's very close with Tsunade! Why, if I can get Mari to rub her the right way, I'm sure she'd come down and take a look at Misagi!"
Koumori was about to reply when Akemi came up, apologizing to Kusabana for being late. "You kept us waiting long enough..." she rasped, maroon eyes narrowing.
Kusabana, on the other hand, grinned. "Well, at least you're here. Well, let's go, shall we? This scroll isn't going to retrieve itself, y'know."
With that, Kusabana began walking through the opening village gates, Koumori right behind her. A small growling could be heard from within the demon host, but one hand placed on her stomach silenced Kagirinai. "Not now..." she whispered to the demon within her. "Not yet..."
Meanwhile, deep in a dark forest, a bunch of serpentine beasts slithered about, in the trees, underneath the leaf loam on the forest floor, entwined within the underbrush, up and over rocks, even underneath the water of a calm stream that trickled through. Sitting on a rock at the side of the stream was none other than Naahra von Lohengrin. Her beautiful ivory locks were brushed out and flowed like a silky white river down her back and trailed on the ground. At her right side stood a woman wearing a kitsune mask. Tied in her black hair were three small fox tails, and at her side was a beautiful white blade. Finally, one of the serpentine beasts, about seven feet long with bright red scales, slithered up to Naahra, placing in her hand a segment of a key. Smirking, Naahra closed her hand around the fragment and waved her opposite hand, making all of the other demons disappear. "Excellent..." she muttered, pulling two more fragments of a small silver key out of her robe. With a little flash of red magic, the three pieces were fused together. "Now all we need is the scroll..." Standing up, the necromancer stepped off the rock and began walking through the woods. "Come, Ouka!" she called. "We have a scroll to find and a demon to release!"

A scroll then Akemi thought to himself. He didn’t really bother asking, or saying anything for that matter. His red eyes scanned the tops of the trees that were near by as they exited the village. It was nice to finally get out of it again, to feel somehow free again. Even if he was a little free he was still on a mission and had duties to fore fill in completing this mission.
Akemi trailed at the back of the line behind the others. He usually did. From this point forward, even though it was only a C-ranked mission, he would have to keep his eyes opened just in case other ninja may be watching them. Akemi couldn’t help crave for a battle though. He would like to show off his skills for once and prove that he was a good ninja, instead of lagging behind and the others thinking not much of him. Sure he didn’t know many jutsu, oh well to that, but his hand to hand combat skills were amazing or at least to him.
He knew he could improve more. That is why most of the time he wasn’t training with his teammates he was training alone, working more on his skills and perfecting up his fire jutsu’s.

(I think I might join this, if you don't mind. It could be interesting.)
Hidden by the thick foliage of Konoha's forest, a tiny green light hovered from leaf to leaf, branch to branch, the patterns of colors forming the shape of an eye every now and again, looking down at the team of ninja below it. Hearing everything it needed to know, it disappeared as quietly as it had arrived in the first place, sliding back through the trees and eventually into a comatose human body holding a branch. "Tsuta's gonna notice that you put strings on her arms while she was away." Jinzou remarked. "I took them off, I took them off. And you laughed when she was walking around like a puppet. " Oni replied. "I laughed because you weren't strong enough to lift her on your own." the tech-nin replied laughingly. Oni was about to say something else, when Tsuta returned from her Runner Mind Jutsu re-con. "What's up with those ninja? Anything interesting?" Oni asked. "Probably, although I couldn't hear much of what they were saying. Someone was talking about a demon, and then they said something about a scroll." Tsuta replied. "Do you think there's some scroll that unleashes an evil demon unto the world?" Jinzou asked, getting overzealous as usual. "Don't jump to any conclusions. I heard two words of a long conversation." "You don't make the best spy if you only got two words." Jinzou remarked. "Send one of your robots out then." "I can't. They're in the shop." "What shop? You built them!" "Are you sure this is even a real mission?" Oni interrupted. "Of course. Kansuu-sensei said it was." "Kansuu-sensei has lied before. Remember the termite thing? Or the hippo thing? Or the time we went all the way to Kiri when the special package was a box of candy? And if he's telling the truth, why isn't he here?" "Oh yeah..." the two other genin remembered. "Still, think of it this way. If it is a mission, we're doing our job. If it's not a mission, then we're having fun." Jinzou decided. "I think there's some flaw to that plan. Besides, we don't know what level of expertise this mission involves. There was a really experienced looking Jonin with a few genin where I was. What if this is some sort of A rank mission? Admit it, we aren't a strong team." Tsuta said, ashamed for herself and her team. "What do you mean? We may not be on the level of some other insanely strong teams, but we have the power to at least follow another team." Jinzou replied, noticing Tsuta was getting downhearted. "And we're number one with teamwork, you've got to give us that." "I guess so." Tsuta replied, cheering up slightly. "But do we even know what this quote un-quote 'mission' is?" Oni asked. "I mean, 'follow the other team' doesn't tell us what to do." "Maybe we're backup." Jinzou suggested. "Backup for what?" Oni asked incredulously. "I don't know." "Well, come on. We might as well, in case it is a real mission. Let's follow them." "Oh, good. Hey...what's this on my arm?" Tsuta asked. The boys were already gone.

Without turning around, Kusabana knew immediately who was following her. Whirling around, a lock of the jounin's hair lashed out, split into two, and wrapped around one of Oni's and Jinzou's legs.
"Now, what are two boys like you doing in a place like this?" the Tenkuu woman asked, walking toward them once she had managed to drag them close enough to her. "Hm... According to what Lady Hokage told me, this was a mission for three genin and one jounin... I don't remember her telling me about any extras..." Putting up one leg, she looked like she were about to stomp upon the two boy's heads when a pallid hand reached out and grabbed Kusabana's ankle. Koumori stood beside her sensei, her maroon eyes narrowed. Kagirinai was at her side, glaring hungrily at the two boys, almost as if she wanted to eat them.
"Kusabana-sensei..." The genin girl rasped. "You do realize that if this scroll is so important, there may be others out to get it... We should have all the help that we can get..."
Little did the young genin know how right she was...

Akemi turned his head around quickly as he saw his sensi go into quick action. His feet slide in a slippery circle as his body rotated around. Not a second latter his eyes for attached onto the two Genin that Kusabana had easily been able to tangle up. He had first wondered the same exact thing. Why were the two of them out here? All they were out to do was find a scroll at the time.
He turned his head over his the direction of hid fellow teammate. She had a point though. If this scroll was as important as it was then they may need more help. Who knows who could be out to get it and unleashed its secrets. Akemi soon looked down at his hand it was gripped around a kunai knife, he wondered when he had taken that out. He paused for a moment his hand was tightly gripped around it making it bleed just slightly. He loosened his gripped on his weapon before placing it back into his side pocket.

"This is your fault, you spoke too loud, and you are the dumbest fake ninja in the world!" Oni grumbled, wiggling his leg that was tangled in Kusabana's hair. "You're lucky I'm previously indisposed, or else you wouldn't see tomorrow. Heck, you wouldn't see five minutes from now!" Jinzou growled back, also struggling. "You're both idiots." Tsuta stated, stepping out from the bush. "May I try to make a proper entrance?" she rhetorically asked the Jonin, holding out her hand. "My name is Tsuta Kusa, and these are my idiotic teammates Jinzou Seishou," "Yo." "-and Oni Ikimono." "Hello." "We were told by our sensei that we had been assigned a mission to tail you, for reasons we weren't informed. However, unless we were supposed to be a secret, then if Lady Hokage didn't tell you, it may have been a lie. And if it WAS supposed to be a secret, then these morons blew it already. So as of now, we have no objective, nor reason for being here." she finished sheepishly, smiling nervously. "But we're here anyway," began the tech-nin, still stuck in Kusabana's grasp, "and we've got nothing better to do...we might as well tag along!" "That's not what ninja's agendas are supposed to be." Oni replied condescendingly. "Well, I'm a 'fake ninja,' right? As you said, of course. So I don't really have any actual ninja agenda, do I?" "You're twisting my words." "Serves ya right."

"Morons, the lot of you," Kusabana growled, another lock of her hair shooting out to wrap around Tsuta's ankle. "A true ninja wouldn't make themselves known, even if their comrades are captured. They'd fight from the shadows..." Glancing around, she smirked. "And where's your sensei? Surely three little genin wouldn't just come out on a whim to follow another team..." Narrowing her eyes, she sat down, her hair still tangled around the three genin's legs. "And don't think of trying to escape. A Tenkuu's hair is stronger than wire, and if you struggle too much, it's also rather sharp, and you may get hurt..." Crossing her legs, she pat the ground beside her for her genin to sit beside her.
Koumori, who had allowed Kagirinai out of her, came to sit on one side of her, staring at the three genin with laughter flashing in her maroon eyes. "Shame you tried to stalk us..." she rasped, then turned her eyes to her sensei. "Kagirinai and I...can we kill them?" The demon gave a little growl of delight, staring at the three hungrily, like she wanted to tear their entrails out and devour them...or eat their flesh before cracking open their bones and sucking the creamy marrow out...or slitting their throats and swallowing them whole...

"Don't lump me in the same group as them. I'm a girl, after all. You should know, we're a little more complex." As the hair tightened around her ankle, lines became distinct on Tsuta's face. Arching patters traced themselves around her visable skin, and then began to change color and shift. They fell of like pink scales, but on closer inspection revealed themselves to be sakura. They fell until nothing was left. The trees around them seemed to sway, although there was very little wind. Tsuta's face appeared in one of the trunks. "I'm not a 'fight from the shadows' kind of ninja." she said playfully, with a slight giggle. When they looked to where her voice had come from, she was gone. "But when my teammates are threatened, I take issue." Her voice became more serious. Again, Jinzou and Oni looked at now a bush, but no one was there. Until she moved, that is. Then they could see Tsuta perfectly, but she vanished again. "Wow. It's like a genjutsu..." Jinzou murmured in awe. "And wherever you are, you're on my turf." Her voice echoed all around. "I'd never noticed, but Tsuta's skin tone and clothes perfectly match the trees and ground. It's like she's invisible. But what do you expect from growing up in a jungle tribe?" Oni replied with a shrug, or as much of a shrug as he could manage still tied up. "And on my turf...you have to look above!" she appeared in the branches, and razor sharp leaves began falling on the group below. "Watch out for us!" her teammates cried, still tangled in the Tenkuu's hair. "And below!" Tsuta said again, this time making roots of the tree explode out of the ground, aiming mainly for Koumori and Kagirinai. She appeared amoung the roots, but in the dirt flying she ran into the trees again. "You have to watch every living thing...every thing that seemed harmless enough, unless you were dumb enough to eat it. Jinzou." "That happened once! Or twice..." "You have to watch every living thing...because who knows when it'll attack?" A tiny stem, hardly out of the ground, quivered slightly. For a milisecond, it seemed to grow slightly curved, with similar razor leaves as the trees were still raining, a darker color, and a sinister nature, before returning to normal as soon as it had gone in the first place.

Akemi stared around watching the moments of the girl. He never muched liked them at all, thinking they were always better or in a way smarter for that matter. He was almost able to follow her movements but just as her two teammates, almost a split secound he were to see her, she would then disapear and move on to another spot.
They may be of the same village but Akemi was starting to get a little annoyed. His eyes narrowed down. Most of everything she was saying he already knew about. Focusing on the surrounding area on which you stand, take in every little detail, and enemy could be around anywhere at any time, watching your movements in the places in which you'd least expect them to be hiding.

Kusabana, surprised at the girl's show, leaped back, her hair unwinding from around the other two genin's ankles. Backflipping up in the air, she landed in the form of a white wolf, a snarl on her maw and rage in her eyes. "You impudent little Bzitch..." she snarled. "I'll show you what happens when you mess with a Tenkuu! I'll show you that this isn't your turf...this is MY TERRITORY!!"
"Au contraire, madamoiselle..." A soft, silky voice spoke, loud enough for everyone to hear. "This is my territory..." Suddenly, a shower of bombs fell upon the ninjas, making Kusabana leap back and wrap herself in her hair, preventing her from harm, and Kagirinai to wrap her wings around Koumori, shielding her from most of the flying debris. Landing in the middle of the explosions was a tall woman wearing a kitsune mask. Her brown eyes were flashing with madness.
"I make you all go boom now!" Ouka shouted, grabbing her White Flame and swinging it in midair numerous times.
"What the hell?" Kusabana asked. "She's swinging at--" she cut herself off when she barely dodged the White Sparks that were flying at her. Each white shuriken grazed the wolf, then landed in a tree, exploding with great force.
Laughing maniacally, Ouka raised her sword, and plunged it into the ground. "DROP THE BOMB!" she shrieked. Suddenly, a huge bird appeared in a large explosion, numerous paper bombs strapped to it. The huge bird flew up into the air and began raining down the burning paper bombs onto the unsuspecting ninjas, ready to explode.
Meanwhile, a short distance off, sitting in the shade of a beautiful cherry tree, Naahra laughed. "They'll have a hard time beating Ouka..."

Akemi had taken a step backwards from where he was staring at the bird, the fire at the edges of the papers bombs that were close to setting off reflecting off his eyes. Unless a big move was released now, if even that, all of them would be hit with the force of the blow when it hit. His heart sank down to the ground as far as it could go. He didn't know why he was just standing there he sould have moved or done something.

Jinzou and Oni fell to the ground, and scampered back into the trees. "If we get out alive, I'm going to kill Kansuu-sensei." Jinzou remarked. "He isn't actually alive, remember." Oni replied. "He'll wish he was alive so he could die after I finish with him. I'll...I'll...I'll burn his pole!" The two were cut off as a White Spark shot through them and blasted the area. They looked above them as the Bakudan Tori rose up, showering the field with Paper Bombs. Tsuta shot out of a tree and used her Ivy Gauntlet to grab them seconds before the area they were hiding was blown to smithereens. They hid behind a boulder. However, the bombs were too numerous, and more blotted out the sun, no way to escape for the Genin. But before the bombs could explode, a shower of streaks knocked into each, ripping it to shreds and negating the attack. The terrorfied Genin looked to where the bombs had been a moment before, and saw only needles. Tan needles. "KANSUU-SENSEI!" they roared, both in relief and fury. The scarecrow sensei stepped out of the trees. "I thought I'd tail the tailers in case anything interesting happened. It just happened sooner than I expected. Saves time." "IS THIS SOME KIND OF GAME TO YOU?!?" Jinzou asked incredulously. Kansuu cackled. "Hehehe! You bet it is!" "I hate him. I love him and hate him at the same time." The team looked at each other, trying to figure a plan before more bombs fell. "Whoever this is is strong. Our best bet is to team up with whoever that other team is-" "You mean you sent us out to follow a team and you had no idea who they were? You idiot!" Oni cried. "It was funny. Anyway, team up with them and try to block this girl's attacks. Those blasts must take a lot of energy. Don't try to overpower her directly unless she seems in it for the long haul. I'm going to distract the bird." "How?" Tsuta asked worriedly. "Duh. Scarecrow?" With that the scarecrow jumped to the treetops, under the shadow of the Bakudan Tori.
"Okay, you heard him. Let's go!" Oni said enthusiastically. "Hyde Gene Jutsu!" Making a single handsign, his body began to shift. His hair grew until it covered his body. His body grew taller, wider, and thicker. His face grew into a fearsome maw lined with jagged teeth, and his eyes shone with pure, animalistic power. He roared, and jumped into the field, right next to the white wolf that was Kusabana. "Um...okay! Yaaaaah!" Jinzou also jumped out, but took the element of surprise. Activating his cloaking device, light refracted around his suit and made him invisible. Tsuta didn't jump out, but instead opened a hollow part of the nearest tree and vanished.
