"Idiot..." was all Amari could say to herself before hearing the screeching of the Hell Butterfly larvae. Leaping backward, she managed to halt her movement quick enough before turning herself around and speeding back to where Jinzou (who was idiotic enough to actually try overtaking her in a race), had awakened the caterpillars, and set off the other butterflies after them. Narrowing her eyes, she leaped down from the canopy of trees and said, "Alright, we need to get away from these! You realize Naahra will skin us alive and have the larvae devour us if we dare destroy any of them!"
Leaping back up into the trees, Amari squished a couple caterpillars underfoot and beckoned up to Kansuu and his merry band. "Get up here! There aren't as many higher up in the trees!"
And with that, she was off.
((So short... *facepalms* Shoot me, please.))

(No, no...I always feel bad because your posts are so long and descriptive, and then mine are just kind of filler.)
Tsuta gasped, seeing the insects begin to gather. For the most part she thought of Jinzou's safety, because he was still dizzy and immobile from his flight, despite the hordes of caterpillars charging at him. Quickly, she made a few handsigns, and the branch above Jinzou shot down. It curled around his leg like and arm, and catapulted him into the air. She herself quickly followed suit, with Oni climbing behind.
"Hyde Gene Jutsu!" In an instant, where the teen had stood seconds before lumbered the towering beast that was Oni's animal form. With a terrible roar, a jet of air shot at the floor, doing well to throw back the lightweight butterflies, and pushed Oni higher into the air.
Kansuu was still on the ground, looking up to see Oni's transformation and attack. Throwing a single needle into the air, he hit it squarely with a fireball. The needle exploded, and the huge burst of fire that came from it was caught on Oni's whirlwind, creating a localized wildfire that encompassed the area the bugs had claimed. Another fireball to the ground launched Kansuu up through the pillar of fire he had created, giving him momentary safety from the butterflies and putting him on level with the others. Everyone else had gotten ready, and used their respective jutsus to run after Amari. "You know what worries me, though." Kansuu said, getting close enough to Amari so that she could hear him. "What worries me is that we haven't actually come in contact with Lohengrin. You'd think she'd be mad about that." He pointed back to the now smoldering fire.

"You would think I would be angry about that, wouldn't you?" a sultry, seductive voice rang out through the forest.
A swarm of bright red butterflies appeared in the trees, and from them appeared a beautiful, ivory-haired woman. The Hades Butterflies she had created leisurely flitted around her, occasionally landing on her or on the branches surrounding her.
"You are rash enough to not heed my warning and kill my beautiful Hell Butterflies?" Naahra asked, crossing her arms and raising an eyebrow. "I believe I made my warning clear. If anyone dared harm a single antenna on any of my beautiful butterflies, Konoha would go up in flames..."
Amari, who had managed to slide to a halt before crashing into the necromancer, raised a questioning eyebrow. "If I may ask, why are you doing this? Why do you feel you must take revenge on the village you were once allied with?"
The leader of the Usagi Nottori had to bend backward quickly to avoid having her head clipped off by a blade of red energy.
"Because it was ninjas like you all that killed my daughter!" Naahra snarled. "And I must avenge her death by slaughtering every single ninja that is still alive in this world..."
"Her daughter...?" Amari murmured to herself, leaning slightly over to Kansuu. "I couldn't think anyone would want to get off with her, don't you think?"
Naahra whirled around to face Amari. "Aah, so you dare insult me? Fine. I will take this as a personal challenge... Do not close your eyes at night, woman, for you will rue the moment that you do..."
And with that, Naahra was gone, leaving only a couple small black Hell Butterflies behind.
Amari, realizing what she had done, gulped. This was probably worse than trying to go against the Akatsuki... She'd have to go this one alone...and the chances of survival were...slim to none...
Anyway, she'd have to rough it out, and just go with it. "Alright, guys, let's go. The quicker we get to Kusagakure, the better..."
((Hrmm... I'm thinking of having Kusagakure up in flames whenever they get there. What do you think? Since the Kochou clan lives outside of it, they could've been spared, but I'm thinking the rest of the village could've been burned.))

Team 42 was distanced from Amari because of her speed, but also scrambled to a stop as Naahra's voice rang out through the air. As the witch appeared, each member's blood ran cold as they recognized the woman from the photograph. Well, except Kansuu, because he had no blood. But he was frightened too. They listened quietly to Naahra's little speech, and Kansuu chuckled when Amari made her remark. ~I wonder if she counts me as a 'living ninja.'~ Kansuu asked himself. ~I hope not.~ "Go away. No, n-shoo! I said go awaaaaaay!" Jinzou moaned, shooing away the black butterflies that Naahra left as she vanished.
Kansuu looked with interest at the spot the necromancer had just been in. It was the first time he had seen the legendary magician in the flesh. He was happy that he had a neat story to tell now. He glanced at Amari, who seemed shaken after Naahra's threat. As if reading her mind, he patted her on the shoulder. "Don't worry. You're not as alone as you think."
(That sounds fine to me. Who cares about the dumb little Grass Village anyway, muahahaha!)

Amari shuddered under Kansuu's touch, but smiled nonetheless. "Kansuu, if the Lohengrin woman does kill me, how would you take it?" she asked, not really conscious that she was actually asking the question. As soon as she realized that she had asked a question like that, she blushed, and bit down on her tongue, keeping herself from saying any more. She realized that, with the luck she had, she'd probably wind up dead from the Lohengrin woman's hand, or she'd worry herself to death just waiting for it.
Leaning forward slightly, Amari quickly ran forward. "With luck, we may be able to get about halfway there by nightfall. Even at my pace, we won't clear the forests and get all the way through the Land of Grass..." It was true. The sun was already sinking below the horizon, and she knew that she would be absolutely worn out by the time they decided to call it a night... Besides, the Kochou clan may not allow anyone in at night, because of the fear of assassins...
Shuddering again at Naahra's words, Amari bit her tongue to keep back the tears that dared flow forth from her eyes.
If I do die, then I would've done so much in vain... I wouldn't be avenge Yuno's death... I wouldn't be able to be with those I love... I wouldn't get to see Kusabana-san again...or Tsunade-sama...or...
A tear fell down Amari's cheek as she realized she wouldn't be able to be with Kansuu anymore. Just the thought of dying at Naahra's hand...and how Kansuu would probably react, just made her want to draw her sword and impale herself on the spot...
But she couldn't. She couldn't die just yet... She had to protect Tsuta, Jinzou, Oni, and...
She had to protect Kansuu...
((Poor Amari... Don't you just want to give her a hug?))

"Such a problem will never come up." Kansuu replied with a grin, trying to comfort the obviously frightened Jounin. He turned, and also looked at the sun. "You know, we actually shouldn't move much further tonight. The forest is a dangerous area with those Hell bugs around, and we'll be safer stationary than blindly making our way through the dark. I say we use the last rays of sunlight to set up camp, and then rest until dawn before heading off again. Not all of us can run as fast and as long as you, Amari-chan." The rest of his team nodded, and jumped down to the forest floor. As of now there wasn't a sign of any Hell Butterfly or larvae. Oni had transformed back into human form, and was angry that he had missed meeting Naahra. Tsuta and Oni pulled a rolled tent from their bags, and quickly set them up. The sun had gone down below the trees, and now only the flicker of Tsuta's lantern, Jinzou's shoulder-light, and Kansuu's flame lit the area.
"All right then. Since we have more girls than just Tsuta, I guess it would be easiest to just have boys in one tent and girls in the other. I'll just stay out here, on guard." He took a small crucifix from his pocket, and it grew into a thin-sticked cross. Stabbing the cross into the ground, he had a perfect view of both tents.
Doing a final inspection, he crossed over again to Amari who still seemed to be thinking deeply about Naahra and the threat. "Don't worry." Kansuu whispered in her ear. "No malevolent being will touch you tonight. I give you my word."
(Yeah, I feel sorry for her. She must feel really conflicted. But I hope she doesn't get the wrong idea that Kansuu needs protecting 24-7! He a ninja in his own right too, you know.)

Coming to a halt, Amari, still biting down on her tongue, listened to Kansuu whisper to her, saying that he wouldn't allow any harm to come to her. Releasing her now-bleeding tongue from between her teeth, the jounin turned around and hugged Kansuu tightly, the tears flowing down her face freely.
"I'm so stupid..." she whispered, her body quaking with each silent sob. "How could I be so idiotic as to go up against the greatest magician this world has ever seen?" Releasing Kansuu from her arms, Amari stepped back, wiping her tear-streaked face and swallowing the blood that filled her mouth. Turning around, she triggered her Manako no Ankoku, which made it a lot easier for her to see at night, and walked toward the tent which was set up for Tsuta and herself. Crawling inside, Amari tried to lay down and at least rest her eyes, but no matter what she did, she just couldn't get comfortable... Besides, her bleeding tongue wasn't doing much to help, either. She tried rolling over onto her stomach. Not only did that not work, it also made the blood drip out of her mouth. Then she tried rolling over onto her back, and almost drowned on her own blood. Then, she rolled onto her side, and suffered from both of those misfortunes. Finally, she sat up, staring through the opening in the tent to the outside. She could just barely make out the light flickering in Kansuu's jack-o-lantern, and even though she knew he was watching out for her, she couldn't help but feel odd...
She needed air...She just needed a quick breath of fresh air...that was it...
But she didn't want Kansuu to know, either...
Putting ten hand signs together in less than a second, Amari mouthed the words 'Suterusu Shousha' and silently crawled out of the tent, making five more hand signs and activating her Ooi no Ankoku, cloaking her from anyone's view. Sliding out of the tent, she slipped out deeper into the forest, listening to the crickets, the owls, the nightingales, the frogs, all in their serenade.
Each little noise made her jump, and each flash of light made her reach for her sword. She wasn't going to just give up against Naahra. She was going to go down with a fight...but she was so afraid... Maybe she would just offer up her throat, or--
"You're here, I see..."
Whirling around, Amari couldn't see the beautiful witch standing behind her. In the light of the half-moon, she could see Naahra's ivory hair, her pale skin, and her yellow eyes flashing with hilarity. She was holding some kind of leash that led down to something at her feet... But the thing on the other end of the leash... Whether it was man or beast, Amari couldn't tell at first glance--it groveled, seemingly, on all fours; it snatched and growled like some strange wild animal--but it was covered with clothing, and a quantity of dark, grizzled hair, wild as a mane, hid its head and face. She could barely make out a tail and a pair of pointed ears on this strange creature's head, but as soon as she took a step back, she trod on a dry twig, making a loud snapping noise. The noise enough, silent as it was, was just enough to make the creature's head snap up, its yellow eyes boring right into Amari, though she wasn't able to be seen with the Ooi no Ankoku.
"You can take off that little cloak now, dog..." Naahra growled. "I can see you, and so can my little pet here..."
Shakily, Amari drew her sword, then released the Ooi no Ankoku and the Suterusu Shousha.
"You have insulted me, and have proven to be nothing but a dog that will try and hinder my plans..." At that, she released the leash, watching as Freya leaped forward, falling short of the afraid Amari.
"And, because you dare try to hinder my plans, you will die... Like the dog you ARE!"
At that, the creature leaped toward Amari, claw-like nails outstretched, a crazed glint in her yellow eyes...

(Wow you write a lot. I can't compare.)
If Kansuu had had blood, he would have been blushing profusely. He smiled as the girl walked back to the tent, and climbed up onto his staff. Sliding onto the wood, he looked like a normal scarecrow, and simply stood silently, waiting for dawn.
Tsuta glanced up as Amari entered, but understood that Amari was thinking about a lot and didn't say anything. Laying down her sleeping bag, Tsuta crawled inside and lay down, trying to go to sleep. However, Amari's tossing and turning prevented that. Not long after, the drowsy Tsuta registered Amari getting up, and vanishing. As Amari left, Tsuta snuck out behind her to alert Kansuu.
A slight rustle shuffled through the leaves, and the loud snap of a twig guided the rustle to the deep forest area where the two and semi-third women stood. The leaves blew to each side in a triangle, around the field. As the crazed Freya leaped out toward Amari, a needle shot out and snagged through the holes in the metal plate on Amari's elbow guard. A second did the same thing on the other side, and Amari was yanked backward, just out of Freya's clawed reach. A wolflike howl on the east side was enough to alert the cattish Freya to another's presence. A slight whirring noise, along with a glow to the west, signified another person. A third being was a little more discreet, trees waving to the north although there was no wind. And from directly behind Amari, two eyes and a jagged mouth shaped themselves out of the darkness, lit by only a ghostly flame. "Like I said, you aren't as alone as you think." A gloved hand took Amari's arm, and Kansuu pulled her behind himself. He could see Freya preparing to make another move, but with a deft flick of the wrist he had sent hay wires around the trees and bound her arms. They wouldn't hold very long, but it could help the situation. "Well, well, Miss von Lohengrin. I see you are a lady of your word. Coming out at this late hour for the sole purpose of cutting down a so-called enemy who would dare challenge you. Is it beyond the realm of possibility that I may ask why? Do you consider my friend a threat to you, one of...no, the most powerful necromancer in the world? Hardly likely. Is it only because of the crude comment she made to you earlier today? I'm sure someone as self-assure as yourself can shrug something like that off easily. So why make all this fuss against a ragged crew of three Genin and two weak Jounin who wouldn't dare oppose you?" he asked. He knew there was no way that all of them together could barely scratch Naahra von Lohengrin, so the best chance he had now was to talk their way out of it. If Naahra was as narcissistic as he figured her to be, he was sure there was some phrase, some trigger he could say to make her lower her attack. He just hoped Amari wouldn't feel offended by anything he said.

With a snarl, Freya leaped back as best as she could, biting at the wires that bound her arms. Her sharp feline teeth tore through the hay quickly, and she was back at Naahra's feet. All that could be seen of her in the darkness were her bright yellow eyes, flicking back and forth from the strange creature that bound her, to the howl in the east, then to the trees rustling in the north, and then back to the one whom she was to slay.
"Oh, dear me..." Naahra muttered, her eyes calmly sliding over Kansuu, then off to the east, then to the west, and finally to the north. "It looks like we are surrounded, aren't we, my dear Freya?" The only reply she got was a tremble of rage and a snarl from the beast at her feet.
Amari, who had tried to avoid Freya's claws, was about to simply give up when she felt the gloved hand on her shoulder and Kansuu step in front of her.
She didn't know what to say. She was completely dumbstruck. Swallowing another mouthful of blood (this had to have been at least her fifteenth), she shakily stood up, then glanced around as she caught subtle signs of each of Kansuu's genin.
"How...?" she whispered. "How did you find me...?" She had to have known it was Tsuta, because she was the only one who could've actually realized she had gone, but...she was certain she was asleep... She realized that she was apparently wrong, and that she had to make better guesses.
Sliding back a step, Amari almost wanted to make a beeline back for Konoha, but she realized she couldn't.
Meanwhile, Naahra was soaking up the feelings of bravery, as well as the fear from Amari, drinking them up hungrily, enjoying how the felt in her. She hadn't felt such an adrenaline rush in ages...
"Now...how shall I kill you all?" Naahra asked, her calm yellow gaze running around all sides of her. She knew she was surrounded, but she really didn't care. In fact, she loved it.
Slowly, she raised one hand, her fingers curled into a tight fist. She focused a portion of her magic into her hand and, when she quickly snapped it open, a shower of red energy came over the entire field. Where each drop of red energy fell, a huge bright-red two-headed dog appeared. She had created approximately thirty hellhounds, and about ten of them each had the same power.
The first third had a power that could counter Tsuta's jutsus, which were plant-based. They had fire-type attacks, like fire breath, or turning their pelt to flames and running about, causing chaos.
The second third didn't really have a special type of attack to counter Oni. They were just freaking huge. These hellhounds were at least one and a half times larger than the others, and their slavering jaws and snarling maws showed that they were hungry...
The final third was the strangest third of all. Part of its body was covered in thick red fur, while the other part was bright red metal. They were cyborg-like hellhounds. Perfect for countering robotic-based ninjas, right?
With a flick of the hand that summoned these beasts, the demons were off, ready to fight their respective targets.
"Now, for you, scarecrow, you are lucky enough to fight my newest pet..." Naahra whispered, her sultry, seductive voice ringing through the silence of the night.
That seemed to be Freya's cue.
The beast woman leaped forward, her mouth curled upward in a vicious grin, her claws digging into the ground, her eyes flashing madly.
"I get to kill you now, and then I get to eat you, and it's all for my mistress's pleasure..." she whispered, her voice still holding that seductive tone to it, but was more of a rasp than a voice... Like sandpaper, her voice was. It was almost like she was possessed by a demon... Or was a demon herself...
Standing up on her two feet, Freya hung there limply like a marionette, then got down on all fours, charging straight for Kansuu, her claws ready to tear through his clothes and rip out his straw insides...and smash that pumpkin head under her feet... She was ready to spill scarecrow blood... And then, she would take out that small, cowardly one...
"The runt is always taken out first, but I'm saving it for last..." Naahra muttered, pulling her hand down and creating six bright red crystal wings. If it came to it, she could use them as a shield, but she didn't think any of these dimwits could make it past her beloved demons...

"Back!" Kansuu shouted, throwing Amari away from the battle. "Leave this to us. You're fast..get out of here while you can. Go!" He turned back to the approaching Freya, and his eyes sparked with his soul. He cackled, as if he were a demon himself. "You speak like that Genin, Koumori. She was weird. Anyway, this will be fun. Take that!" he said, throwing a flurry of needles. They missed easily, but Kansuu vanished with them. He appeared behind Freya, throwing more needles from a different angle. It was odd though, because it almost seemed like he was missing on purpose...
He thoughts moved for a brief moment to his team, and looked with horror as he saw that each of Naahra's summons seemed perfectly equipped to take down each team member. Then he grinned. For once, Jinzou had been right. Jinzou had figured that Naahra had taken in each team member in detail when they had last met, so simply walking in there was a deathtrap. But to confuse things a little...Oni had thrown his howl to the area where it was really Jinzou who stood. Jinzou had fired a clip of Tech Bullets, marking Tsuta's spot. And Tsuta had moved the trees as if to say "Oni's right down there!"
As the first 10 dogs, the fire-based ones, closed in on the trees, they were met with a Kamiitachi whirlwind of cutting air. Oni's hulking wolf form glowered at them from the dark. Jinzou had figured that the best thing to counter Tsuta's plants was fire, but Oni could easily redirect flames with his wind attacks.
The second horde, the big ones, were met with a blinding green light and a series of beeps, before land mines exploded all around the field. Jinzou had also figured out that Naahra hadn't seen Oni's wind attack, only his huge form, so it would come down to a matter of muscle. And Jinzou's long range bullet attacks were the perfect matchup.
As for the robotic minions, Jinzou had figured incorrectly. He had thought that it would be some sort of water monster to take down his electric-rooted attacks, and Tsuta's plants would be the perfect foil. But as Tsuta watched from the trees, she decided this was even better. A cyborg-like demon would use primarily electric attacks, and her wood and plant attacks wouldn't feel a thing. She met those coming with an entire tree trunk, swept across the field.
Kansuu looked back to the threat in front of him. Something seemed wrong about this creature. It looked too human, to soulfull, to be just another slave. But what'cha gonna do?

Naahra raised an eyebrow, watching from a distance as she saw that she had miscalculated. "So...these simpletons are smarter than I took them for..." she whispered to herself. "No matter..." Spreading her wings, Naahra flapped them all at once and was up in the air, hovering over the battlefield. Drawing her sword, Naahra cackled.
"The dogs are merely distraction. Now, it is time for the MAIN ATTRACTION!" Laughing, Naahra dove down at the ground, first going for the huge dogs that were faced off with Jinzou. A couple slashes from her sword and half of them were dead. As their souls raised up, they floated down into the beast-like Freya, who was faced off with Kansuu. Giving a snarl, Freya leaped up, hopped off of Kansuu's head with due grace, and landed behind him, cornering Amari.
"It is time for you to die..." she snarled. "Lady Naahra wills it so..."
Amari, who was pinned up against a tree by the beast, suddenly disappeared. She was up in the air, her Ooi no Ankoku wrapped about her, to keep her from sight. Of course, if Naahra or that beast found her, she would be dead...
Floating back up into the sky, Naahra looked from the flame hounds who were faced off with Oni, and the cyborgs against Tsuta. Smirking, she decided she would just take them out in one go. Diving down, Naahra built up speed, and tore through the cyborg hounds, then through the woods in between, and finally, through the flame hounds. She watched as each dead demon's soul floated up into the air, entwined with each others, and dove right into Freya. Each soul seemed to make her strength, speed, and reactions quicker, not to mention that she seemed to be getting...older... The short robe was barely enough to cover her body as her legs became long, lithe, and smooth, her hair straightening out and billowing about her like a cloak, and her eyes narrowing, the pupils becoming mere slits in the bright yellow irises.
"May I present to you, Ladies and Gentlemen, the Luxuria! The demoness who can seduce with a single glance and a sweet word!"
Standing up straight, Freya shook out her hair, her black-painted lips curled up in a grin. Her voice softer than silk, the new Luxuria spoke.
"This should be entertaining..."

~Seduce with a single glance and a sweet word? It's a good thing Oni isn't in a human form right now...~ Kansuu thought briefly. He then glanced around, trying to find Amari, but to no avail. His invisible wire-web that he had made by throwing needles with wires on them hadn't done a thing to slow down Freya, although if it came to it he would be able to torch the forest floor. Jumping from wire to wire, and throwing more needles for support, he increased his altitude to the treetops. He had seen Amari jump before she vanished, so he figured that she was probably still in the air. His best bet was to find her before Naahra or this Luxuria could.
Jinzou seemed unhappy. "There I was, my brilliant plan set, and then what happens? My enemies taken out by the one who summoned them. I want to be part of the action! I want to have fun!" Taking in the situation, he decided that everyone's attention would be on this new, improved demon. If he could get a good shot in at Naahra herself, it would probably weaken her entire force. Activating a cloaking device, he vanished in the same way Amari's Ooi no Ankoku made her disappear. He snuck through the trees, and saw the necromancer soaring through the air. He could tell she was counting the battle won already with Freya on the field, and wasn't exactly expecting an attack on herself. But of course, she was a super-high level fighter, and he would need a full power attack, totally off guard in order to do anything. Taking out a little disc, he zapped it, and a figure appeared. It was a stick figure-like robot, like a human model. Plates on it's outside swivelled, and it took Jinzou's appearance perfectly. It ran out through the trees and into the battle.
Tsuta also felt somewhat disappointed as to how anticlimactic the hounds were. She was the closest to where Amari had vanished, so she jumped up the trees and stayed at Kansuu's level. She could sense where the hay wires were because they were plants after all, so she stayed clear of that web. She saw Jinzou's clone climb up a tree on the other side, although she thought it was Jinzou.
Oni couldn't really think. He didn't know what had happened to the firey dogs, but now was simply in a beastial fury. Following suit of his team, he clambered up the tall trees, so now everyone was in the air. But he could sense something different than everyone else. While Amari's Ooi no Ankoku could cover sound and sight, Oni's wolfish nose caught something. The sickening scent of blood, the blood that Amari had been swallowing all night from her bitten tongue. He looked in the direction he smelt the blood, but saw nothing, so he focused again on Freya.

Freya looked about, then began walking around slowly, her hair billowing about her, her claw-like nails tearing through anything that dared stand in her way.
Meanwhile, Naahra stood up in the air, her wings folded in toward her, when she felt a warm breath on her cheek. Turning her head, she saw nothing. Shaking her head, she concluded that she must have imagined it.
Well, she didn't imagine the foot kicking her squarely in the cheek.
The Ooi no Ankoku dropped, and Amari stood there, in the open air, over Naahra's fallen form.
"You d**ned little girl..." Naahra snarled, feeling her possibly-broken cheekbone. "I'll have your head for that!" Drawing her sword, she watched as Amari did likewise. The two began an aerial swordfight. Freya was going to leap up into the air to help her mistress out, but was given a sharp word to 'stay down there, you bestial sleeper'! Silently, Freya shrunk back into the darkness, not focusing on any of Squad 42 anymore. A comical whine sounded in the back of the Luxuria's throat, and she almost wanted to just disappear... Even though she was supposedly under Naahra's complete control, there was still that one fiber of her being that was wanting to run from Naahra, even though it would mean instant death...
Naahra turned her eyes to everyone still on the ground. "You interfere, you die..." she called out in between parries of Amari's attacks.
Amari knew she was weaker due to the blood she had lost, but she had speed on her side. But Naahra was strong. Blocking a powerful overhead thrust from the necromancer, she wasn't prepared for the knee she was about to get in the gut.
Doubling over, Amari, wide-eyed, was winded, and had to struggle for breath as she coughed up blood that seeped from her tongue. Her stomach lining must have split as well, because she could feel the sweet tang of the blood all up her throat as well as in her mouth.
"Get up, you fool," Naahra murmured, pointing her sword at Amari. "Get up if you value your life..."
"That's the thing... I don't think I do value my life..." was the reply she got. She watched as Amari shakily stood, gripping her katana with both hands. "But, even if I don't, I will still fight on. I will fight on for those I love...those I value more than my own life..."
"Fool..." Naahra scoffed, twirling her sword once, and preparing for a strike. "Come at me, then. En garde!"

~Hmm?~ Kansuu stopped for a moment as Naahra took the blow, then hissed at the Luxuria to stay down. ~There is something strange about that one. She has much more...spirit than the other demons we've seen.~ He was about to try to talk with Freya, but was alerted when he saw Naahra smash Amari. Panicking, he slid down the wire, and threw a series of needles at Naahra. If Amari was able to kick her and take her off guard, then he could probably get a lucky shot in at one point or another.
Tsuta decided that Freya was no longer a threat. She decided to help Kansuu with Amari, but wasn't sure where to jump in.
Oni wasn't sure at all what to do. He had no one to fight at the moment, and the aura of power around Naahra scared him. Transforming back, he wondered how he had gotten up a tree, and climbed down. He saw Freya in the shadows, and tried to get a better look. The first thing he thought was that she looked even better than Naahra. Shallow git that he is. Of course, he wasn't going to approach her for fear of being shredded, but he kept his eye on her.
Naahra was totally occupied with Amari's swordfight and Kansuu coming in. Jinzou's clone made him seem as though he was still on a treetop. So Jinzou himself had a perfect shot. He was invisible, and his gun silently charged. At breaking point...he let loose with a beam of bright green, shining energy.

"I told you, if you interfere, you die," Naahra growled, her wings curling inward around her, blocking the needles, the beam of green energy, and any of Amari's attacks. "Freya! Kill them all!"
Freya, listening to her mistress speak, nervously crawled out of the shadows, looking up at her enemies. She was fine just going up against one of them, but taking all four at once certainly scared her. Standing up shakily, she got into a fighting stance, but then shakily whispered, her voice but a squeak, "I don't want to fight you all..."
Naahra, of course, didn't hear it, but instead, she unfurled her wings and carried on with the fight. She lunged at Amari, who quickly dodged at the last second. Then she managed to parry a series of quick thrusts. The parries left Amari off balance for a second, which Naahra used that time to deal a swift roundhouse kick to Amari's jaw. She watched with satisfied eyes as Amari fell sideways, coughing up blood yet again.
"Too much for you?" Naahra asked, smirking. "I can gladly end it now for you if you so desire..." Stepping toward the fallen Amari, she pointed her sword at the fallen jounin. "Present your throat if you desire death. If you do not, get up and fight."
Amari, her eyes filled with tears, nodded. "Very well..." she whispered, turning to face Naahra. She slowly lifted up her head, presenting her throat to Naahra.
"Aah, so you wish for me to perform a Coup de Grace (Mercy Killing)," the witch murmured, smirking. "Very well." Raising her sword, she prepared to plunge it into Amari's throat when she felt a severe pain in her stomach. She looked down to see Amari's katana buried up to the hilt in her stomach, and the blade sticking out of her back. Wide eyes filled with shock, Naahra coughed up blood, fell to her hands and knees, and fell over.
Amari shakily stood, ready to draw her sword from her now-dead enemy, when she heard a gentle clapping and a 'Bravo, bravo...' from out of nowhere. Materializing in a flurry of red Hades Butterflies, Naahra laughed. "I see you managed to take out my best creation yet... A perfect clone of myself, made in my flawless image and likeness... Perfect in every way..."
Walking to the demon she created, Naahra pried the sword from her fingers, and watched as the demon's soul flew down to Freya, entering her. Sheathing the saber, Naahra laughed. "Well, I will bid you all adieu for tonight..." Bowing, she began to disappear.
"Mistress!" Freya cried, trying to leap up to Naahra, but being dealt a slap to the face and sent plummeting back to earth.
"You bestial sleeper! I have no more use for you! You proved a disgrace both as a daughter and as a fighter! Go spend the rest of your life sleeping with desperate men!" Naahra snarled, disappearing, leaving only the Hades Butterflies behind.
Laying there on the forest floor, Freya looked up at the night sky. It seemed all the rage had been purged from her body with that scolding from her creator. She felt herself go from her Luxuria form, back to her short, slender, young normal form. She wasn't the Luxuria anymore...well, at the moment. She was just back to being Freya.
"Now what will I do?" she asked herself. "I'm alone again. I don't have Naahra, so I don't have anything..."
